Byron's Walk
Terrain:
A mix of deciduous and coniferous woodland with some contour detail and a good track and path network. The eastern area comprises an east facing slope with numerous spurs and re-entrants with areas of fast open beech forest; the upper plateau is predominantly more traditional working forest. Areas of undergrowth are distributed across the area the worst of which will be avoided. The western area is less contoured and predominantly comprises working forest with areas of younger plantations and is only visited by the longest courses.
