NOC Juniors had an another excellent night on Wendover Woods.
Alistair Footitt, Peter Forester and James Johnson were 1st, 2nd and 3rd on M17A.
Helen Palmer was 3rd on the W15A.
Chris Hodkinson, Marek Nelken, David Hodkinson, Stephen Wright and Richard Robinson were 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th on the M15A.
NOC Seniors, supplemented since Ilkley, fared better, with Bert Bradshaw 1st on M70L, Mick Lucking 2nd on M35L and Michael Napier 5th on M40L.
Next stop - The Midland Night Champs - but they're further away than the Northern and the Southern!!!

The published score in the Eyam Results may be wrong. There is no Yellow team, and the juniors only score 5-4-3-2 (shame!) I think it should read:

NOC made it through the first round in the match against LEI at Eyam on 8th December. Score was 107-54 pending confirmation by team captains.

NOC Juniors had an excellent night on Ilkley Moor.
On her first night event, Nicola Olivant won the W16, with Helen Palmer 2nd. Stephen Wright won the M16, and Alistair Footitt was 3rd on the M18.
NOC Seniors enjoyed the view over Ilkley for a couple of hours before returning to attend the prize giving.

Thanks to the coaches for their efforts in taking 31 juniors to this event over 300 miles away.

NOC had an excellent day in the New Forest. 32 members had runs, and nearly half (15) bettered Championship time! A further 3 made Gold, and 4 Silver. Special congratulations to the coaches: Hilary Palmer won the W45L by 5 clear minutes and Pauline Olivant won the W45S by 4 clear minutes. See full results.

The DVO badge event at Shining Cliff has been downgraded to a Colour coded event due to vegetation. DO NOT SEND ANY PRE-ENTRIES.

The NOC Vets team won the Veterans' prize by one minute, at the annual Harvester Relays held at Hexham. In the 'B' race, the vets team of NapierM/BarnesR/BeardsleyA/GouldA/PortmanC also beat the other NOC team of LuckingM/BradshawG/HodkinsonC/WrightS/ForesterP but this was only due to astonishing first legs!
