We have been trying for 6 hours to get RouteGadget working for this event. But there is a technical problem we cannot resolve. Taking a break now to see if it is any clearer later. Sorry for the inconvenience. Ray/Webmaster 19:50 - It is now available, but we did it without geo-referencing even though map is geo-referenced.
Online entries will remain open until 11.00am on the day of the event subject to the availability of maps.
The latest news from the East Midlands is now available here.
NOC members had a very successful time at the snowy British Night Championships on 27th November at Cleeve Hill with three members winning their age classes. Ben Squire won the Men 18 years and under class by 64 seconds, Anthony Squire won the Men 40 and over class by 12 seconds and Michael Napier won the Men 65 and over class by 2 minutes 39 seconds. The area was a mixture of open runnable hillside and complex quarry workings which tested the navigational skills of the runners. Congratulations to all three.

The Compass Sport Trophy final, which we qualified for in March 2020, is finally taking place on 17th October 2021. It is just up the road at Tankersley and Hesley Woods, which is just North of Sheffield.

It would be good if we could get a competitive turnout given that this is the first time we have qualified for quite a few years.

All NOC entries for this event have to come through me and the deadline for entries is Tuesday 28th September which is only a few days away.

Attached is an entry request form for this event which should be returned to me at teamcaptain@noc-uk.org. The club is going to pay the entry fees.

If you have any questions, please e-mail me at teamcaptain@noc-uk.org.

I hope you can come.

Mick Lucking
