Apologies for delay with RouteGadget. Users can still see the existing events, but we cannot create new events. Hope to resolve shortly, but we might reinstall RouteGadget during which there will no access to any events.
As at 18:00 ... The event is now available http://www.noc-uk.org/gadget/rg2/index.php#184 but the database lock gets stuck for reasons as yet unfathomed. Probably best not to post any routes yet.
As at 18:45 ... Removed the database lock. Should now be able to create your routes, unless two of you choose exactly the same second to click 'Save'.

11th Nov - Upgrading to RG2 v1.5.2 - might be disrupted

Following the successful score event that was held in the summer term they now held a more traditional line event. Children competed in pairs around a 1.5km course that had 12 controls, all set in the grounds of Worksop College. Certificates were be given to all competitors. Congratulations to Everton Primary School who won the team competition and to Ranby House School who were second and Sparken hill 3rd.

I’m writing to let you know and ask that you please share that there will be the second of our free live on-line training taking place this Thursday 4th October at 7pm.

This week, the session will be covering the topic of Planning lasting approximately 45 minutes. Presented by Barry Elkington, it promises to provide a great insight into this area, especially for those who may be unsure about what’s involved. The session also provides the opportunity for people regardless of their experience of Planning, the chance to get involved and ask plenty of questions.

I’d be very grateful if you’d be able to send this to all your club members, especially those who maybe new to planning or have shown an interest previously in this area. Likewise it would be really valuable if we could get some more experienced planners logging on to offer their ideas and advice as we run through the session. Last week with the coaching session, we got some excellent questions and opinions which added an extra element to the night.

You are kindly invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the East Midlands Orienteering Association which will be held at 7.30pm on Monday 24th September 2018 at the Pace Room, St Mary’s Church, Clifton Village, Nottingham.

Here is an entry request form for the Compass Sport Cup heat at Shouldham Warren which also includes requests to be entered in the JK relays and the British Relays.

Can you please let me know as soon as possible about the Compass Sport Cup heat as we need to order a coach pretty soon if there are enough people wishing to use it.

Please do not enter the Shouldham Warren event via Fabian but let me know instead as NOC will be paying the entry fee.

If you have any questions please e-mail me here.
